Rhett Summers Fellers, 82, of Prosperity, widower of Edna Marie Sineath Fellers, died Thursday, November 25, 2021, at his residence.

Born on October 18, 1939, in Prosperity, he was a son of the late Ryan G. and Cora Summers Fellers. He retired as the sales manager of Thomas & Howard and was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church. Mr. Fellers was proud to be the last graduating member of the 1958 Class of Prosperity High School which was the last class to graduate from that school. He was a member of the Prosperity Masonic Lodge, the Hejaz, the Newberry Shrine Club and the Hillbilly Clan. He was an avid Clemson fan who traveled for over 30 years to Death Valley to watch Clemson football. His biggest honor was being called “Pop Pop” and his greatest joy came from his three grandsons.

Mr. Fellers is survived by a son, Ryan (Melony) Fellers of Prosperity; a daughter, Marie Weatherford of Prosperity; grandchildren, Will Fellers, Matthew Weatherford and Heyward Fellers. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Heyward Fellers and a brother, Heyward Hunter Fellers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 29, 2021, at Zion United Methodist Church by the Rev. R.T. Bowling. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to The Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

Active pallbearers will be Will Fellers, Benji Morris, Kendall Morris, Todd Bedenbaugh, Scottie Koon, Kevin Boozer, Frank Kelly and Neil Lester.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Cracker Club, Jim Benton, Cathy Frick, Wanda Wessinger, Mimi Rogers, BJ Beard, Dean Fellers and Gene Fellers.
