Robert William “Bobby” Bullard, 75, of Whitmire, husband of Linda Alexander Bullard, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at his home.

Born in Whitmire, February 26, 1950, he was a son of John William Bullard and Nettie Elizabeth Huff Bullard. He earned an associate’s degree from Midlands Technical College and formerly taught welding at the school for over ten years. Bobby retired after more than forty years of service from VC Summer Nuclear Station where he served as the Civil Maintenance Discipline Supervisor. He was one of the top supervisors with the station for many years and was highly regarded nationwide for his welding abilities. He was honored to have one of his welding pieces in the South Carolina State Museum. Bobby was a former Late Model Sportsman Driver. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Whitmire Golf Club where he formerly served as President and won the 2019 Club Championship. In 2001 he earned his FAA Private Pilot’s License. Bobby was a diehard Clemson Tiger fan. He loved life and was a devoted husband, father and papa and “Little Papa”

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, John Bullard; and sisters, Debra Reed and Annette Bullard.

Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-four years are three sons, Travis Bullard and wife Joy of Mountville, Robert Bullard and wife Teresa of Whitmire and MSgt (Ret) Rick Bullard and wife Maj (Ret) Amber Bullard of Castroville, TX; grandchildren, Haley Bernhardt of Whitmire, William Easler of Lexington, Jessica Bullard of Whitmire, Zachary Bullard of Whitmire, Seth Bullard of Stephen F. Austin University and Madison Bullard of Texas Tech University; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Berhardt; brother, Grallin Bullard and wife Susan of Prosperity; Suzie Thomas of Whitmire and Angie Gilliam and husband Randy of Whitmire. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm at God’s Healing Springs Church with Reverend Wayne Tobias officiating. Burial will follow in Whitmire Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Willie Rogers, Mike Culbertson, Ricky Culbertson, Ed Evans, Johnny Alexander and Wayne Boulware.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the church.
