Robert Simpson

Robert Watson Simpson, Sr., 91, of Newberry, died Saturday, October 7, 2017.

Born on April 26, 1926, in Greenville, he was a son of the late Louis B. and Ebbie Stewart Simpson. Mr. Simpson was a Navy veteran, retired from the Charleston Post Office as a postal carrier and was a member of First Baptist Church of Newberry.

He is survived by his wife, Eulalie Kreider Simpson; a son, Robert W. (June) Simpson, Jr. of Newberry; a daughter, Debra (Robert) Sylvester of Newberry; grandson, Robert Louis Simpson; step-granddaughter, Kerri Duncan and four step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, October 13, 2017, at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Albert Allen.
