Rocky Wicker

Rocky Alan Wicker, 63, of Newberry, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland.

Born on April 4, 1961, in Newberry, he was a son of Estelle Gilliam Wicker and the late Ralph Wicker. He worked for McKechnie Vehicle Components. He was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church and Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Wicker of Irmo; his mother, Estelle Wicker of Newberry; his granddaughters, Hayden Sanders and Peyton Sanders; a sister, Wendy (Robert) Snelgrove of Newberry; a sister-in-law, Susan Wicker of Newberry; a niece, Kayla Crist and great-nieces, Sophia Crist and Bella Crist. 

Rocky was predeceased by his brother, Brett Wicker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Amick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
