Rodney "Papa Smurf" Gundlach, 60, of Whitmire, died Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence.

Born on April 19, 1961 in Enid, OK, he was employed with SWM International in Prosperity.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bohannon Gundlach; sons, Andrew Trupino and David Howell; a daughter, Fawna Fritts and a number of grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
