Kyle Richardson

Rondall Kyle Richardson, 67, of Newberry, died Thursday, May 29, 2025 at his residence.

Born on October 6, 1957 in Newberry, he was a son of Loretta M. Richardson and the late Houseal C. “Doc” Richardson. Kyle was a 1978 graduate of Newberry High School and retired from Bi-Lo in Newberry. He was a life-long member of Epting Memorial United Methodist Church. Kyle was an avid fan of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the Carolina Panthers. He loved March Madness and was a Marvel movie fanatic. Kyle loved getting together and having big home cooked meals with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Richardson of Newberry; brothers, Kent (Mary Beth) Richardson of Prosperity and Matthew Richardson of Mauldin; nieces and nephews Marie R. (Brandon) Shealy, Aubrey L. Richardson, Ashley Richardson, and Tristyn (Tracy) Richardson; great nieces and nephews, Adalynn Shealy, Brantley Shealy, Bruce Shealy, Torian Moore, and Charlotte Logan. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Richardson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Epting Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. William Hightower. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Mt. Bethel Methodist Church, P.O. Box 57 , Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Shealy, Gary Mathis, David Nicholson, Blair Long, Mac Vaughn, and C.A. Shealy.

Honorary pallbearer will be James Bouknight.
