Ruby B. Bedenbaugh

Ruby Boland Bedenbaugh, 92, of Prosperity, widow of Robert Hawkins Bedenbaugh, died Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 9, 1923, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Irvin and Eunice Boland. Mrs. Bedenbaugh was a graduate of Little Mountain High School, a retired seamstress and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son, Robert Boland (Glenda) Bedenbaugh of Hollywood; a daughter, Kathy Kunkle of Prosperity; a sister, Carolyn Bickley of West Columbia; grandchildren, Chris Kunkle, Becky (Darin) Mills, Robert (Heather) Bedenbaugh, Jr., and Laura (Shawn) Riggs and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by eight siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 18, 2016, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Michael Price. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, PO Box 188, Prosperity, SC 29127.
