Ruth Sligh

Vivian Ruth Davenport Sligh, 67, of Newberry died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 10, 1947, in Joanna, she was a daughter of the late Jobie M. and Alice Morgan Davenport. She retired from Senior Catering and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Sligh, and a brother, James M. Davenport. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanette Baker and brothers, Edward Davenport, Jeffery Davenport, and Charles Davenport.

No formal funeral services will be held. The family will be at their residence where they will receive friends.
