Sadie Mae Graham Loging, 74, of Pomaria, SC went home to be with her Lord on May 22, 2021. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home. She was the widow of William George Loging. They were married for 51 years.

Born on August 4, 1946 in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late Daisy Lee Cromer Graham and Willie Edward Graham.

Sadie was a loyal servant of God and a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Her business career was with the South Carolina Highway Department and as a bus driver for the Newberry County School District for 17 years. She served in her church on the Administrative Council, Church Historian, a member of the United Methodist Women and 55+ Senior Group. She traveled with her husband for many years while he was in the Marine Corps. She was a kind-hearted person who enjoyed making peanut brittle and chocolate candy to share with others.

She is survived by her children, Dr. William Troy (Christie) Loging of Parkland, FL and Dr. James Ashley (Ashley) Loging of Prosperity, SC; grandchildren, Brianna and William Loging of Parkland, FL and Bryce and Bailee Loging of Prosperity, SC, a sister, Willie (Andy) Morris of Pomaria, SC; sisters-in-law, Betsy Baumer of Wisconsin and Mildred (Chester) Britt of California; nephews, Kevin (Robin) Morris of Irmo, SC, Tim (Lisa) Morris of Harrisburg, NC, Richard (Mary) Loging of Lexington, SC, Duane (Donna) Rodenberg of Wisconsin, Nieces, Pat Bunch of Columbia, SC, Barbara (Gilbert) Brainard of Iowa and Diane Huber and several great nephews and great nieces. She loved her visits from Duane and Donna Rodenberg and Barb and Gilbert Brainard and other family members from Wisconsin and Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Reverend Darlene Kelley. Burial will be held in the church cemetery immediate following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00-7:00 pm at McSwain Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt. Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Kevin Morris, Tim Morris, Duane Rodenberg, Richard Loging, Tyler Morris, Rodney Cromer and Hunter Leitzsey. Honorary pallbearers will be the 55+ Senior Group, Reverend Jack Hancock, Mid-Carolina Class of 1964, Dr. Carroll Pinner, Dr. Chelsea McCoy, Dr. Jason Lewis, Nichole Hendry, PA-C, the numerous caregivers from McCleod Home Care, the Newberry County Memorial Hospital nursing staff, and MSA Hospice Care.
