Sheila Sugibayashi

Sheila Blanton Sugibayashi, 59, of Newberry, widow of Kihachi Sugibayashi, died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 21, 1960, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Grace Lever Blanton. She had worked for Bank of America.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Lynn Sugibaysashi; a son, Joshua Roy Sugibayashi and a grandson, Michael Aaron Sugibayashi.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by Pastor Josh Parsons. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabites Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
