Sherrie Rice

Sherrie Rice, 67, of Newberry, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at her home.

Born on November 30, 1955, in Laurinburg, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Junior and Jessie Richardson Rice.

Ms. Rice is survived by a son, David (Samantha) Hutto, Jr.; a daughter, Paula Hutto; sisters, Elaine Phillips, Angie Wooten and Patricia Millard; brothers, Tony Rice and Pete Rice; five grandchildren, Johnny Hutto III, Thomas Hutto, Kayla (Jacob) Williams, Bekah (Ryan) Raines, William Meetze and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Bobby Rice and her faithful canine companion, Tiger.

A private family service will be held later.
