Sidney Hubert Park

Sidney Hubert Park, 63, of Prosperity and Bapsfontein, South Africa, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Born on January 8, 1962, in Welkom, Free State Provience, South Africa, he was a son of the late Sidney Hubert and Margaret Jane O'Neil Park. He was a retired sales engineer in the mining and industrial industry. Sidney was an avid Blue Bulls fan and loved having braai vleis with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marinda Roos Park; a son, Sidney Park, Jr.; daughters, Mary Jane Park and Jennifer Park; step-daughters, Desire Steenberg and Cindy Vanjaarsvelr; a sister, Mary Jane Park; a brother William Park and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jason Edwards.
