Susan Hunter

Susan Rush Hunter, 79, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Lowman Home.

Born on November 6, 1929 in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Alva Jason and Pearl Haydon Mahoney Rush. She was a member of South Main Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Surviving is her daughter, Lynn H. Ackerman and her spouse, Norm of Irmo; a brother, Frank Rush of Pensacola, FL; granddaughters, Kimberly Shealy and Sarah Nelson and a great-grandson, C.J. Nelson.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Faith Presbyterian Church in Irmo by the Rev. Karl McCallister. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ackerman, 1004 Aderley Oak Drive, Irmo, SC., and they will receive friends an hour before the service on Saturday at the church.
