Sylvia Louise Brogan, 78, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, in Prosperity, SC. Born on October 27, 1947, in New Kensington, PA, Sylvia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with the people she loved. She was a longtime resident of the Charleston area, where she made her home and created many cherished memories.

Sylvia worked in the service industry throughout her career, dedicating many years to working for various companies and connecting with people along the way. Outside of work, she enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises, and creating special memories with her family.

She had been a longtime member of the Women of the Moose in New Kensington, PA.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Romano (Robin) and Matthew Rhine; her grandchildren, Blase Rhine, Falen Rhine, Enzo Romano, Mia Romano, Wyatt Romano, and Kian Romano; and her great-granddaughter, Ryland Rhine. She also is survived by her brothers Louis (Ellen) Romano and Dennis (Michael) Romano and nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Dorothy Romano.

As per the wishes of her family all arrangements are private. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and the many lives she touched throughout her years. She will be remembered for the love she gave her family, her enjoyment of travel and adventure, and the cherished moments she shared with those closest to her.

May she rest peacefully and forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
