Thomas Hoyes

Thomas Edward Hoyes, 60, of Cross Hill, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence.

Born January 21, 1961 in Warwick, RI, he was a son of Donald James Hoyes and Barbara Westfall Hoyes. He was a valuable team member of AT&T FirstNet, a member of the NRA and avid Trump supporter.

He is survived by his wife, Rachelle Ridder Hoyes; parents, Donald Hoyes of West Palm Beach, FL, his mother, Barbara Hoyes of Grasonville, MD; his son, Chris Hoyes and his wife, Chelsea of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Blake and Cole Hoyes; a daughter, Courtney Hoyes and her fiance, Matthew Graditor; sisters, Cindy Hoyes of Gransville, MD, Terry Thielenhouse of West Virginia and Sue Inloes of Delaware; brothers Phil Hoyes of North Carolina and Donnie Hoyes of Florida and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will have a visitation on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12 Noon at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Following the visitation the family will return to the home for food and beverage.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held later in Annapolis, Maryland.
