Thomas "Saw" Arrowood

Thomas Gerald “Saw” Arrowood, 61, of Silverstreet, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at his residence.

Born on June 8, 1957, in Whitmire, he was a son of the late George Franklin and Mary Arrowood. He formerly worked for E. W. Longshore and Palmetto Pallets. He loved fishing, NASCAR, cooking and having a good time with friends. Mr. Arrowood was a Gamecock fan.

He is survived by a son, James Arrowood; a step-son, Kenneth Simon; step-daughter, Stacy Bright; a sister, Lori Smith; brothers, John Allen Arrowood, Loyd Arrowood; step-grandchildren, Aliyah "P-Pie" Bright, Alana Griffin Kenneth Simon, Jr., Tyler Shackelford, Shane Shakelford; nieces and nephews, Danny Ray Arrowood, Josh Arrowood, Taylor Marie Smith and April Arrowood. He was predecease by his longtime companion, Cynthia Renee Bright and a brother, Danny Arrowood.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
