Timothy White

Timothy Sanford White, 61, of Bryson City, NC, widower of Lory Ann Whitman White, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at the Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born on February 17, 1961, in Ft. Myers, FL, he was a son of the late Merle and Judy Burton White. He was a member of Whittier Church of God where he served as Youth Pastor. He had been certified as a minister by the Church of God denomination.

Mr. White is survived by a son, Jonathan White of Bryson City, NC; a daughter, Tiphany White of Bryson City, NC; a sister, Teresa Hollingsworth of Franklin, NC and a brother, Ted White of Greenville and his mother-in-law, Tip Whitman of Newberry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Whittier Church of God in Whittier, NC. Burial will proceed the funeral service at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry.  Memorials may be made to the Whittier Church of God Youth Fund, PO Box 129, Whittier, NC 28789.
