David Todd Ellisor, 59, passed away on September 27, 2026.

He was born on July 25, 1967, to the late James David and Joann Shealy Ellisor.

Todd was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work and in providing for those he loved. He worked for Pioneer Frozen Foods until his illness, where he enjoyed his work as a mechanic. Before that, he was employed with American Fiber and Finishing until the mill closed, proudly being one of the last employees there.

Todd found some of his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved spending time on his tractor, hunting, fishing, or woodworking. Whether he was working with his hands or enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors, Todd was happiest doing the things he loved and making memories along the way.

He was a member of West End Baptist Church and cherished the people and relationships that were a part of his life. He thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Builders for Christ, building ramps for people in need.

Todd leaves behind his beloved daughter, Chelsea Ellisor Whitlock, and her husband, Ryan Whitlock; his significant other of more than 20 years, Melissa Barbare; his sister and brother-in-law, Kelli and Lane Maness; his niece, Katelyn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, James David and Joann Shealy Ellisor.

Todd will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the people he loved, the work of his hands, and the many memories he leaves behind.

Memorial services will be held Thursday October 1, 2026 at 2pm at West End Baptist Church by the Reverend Kevin Carter. Family will receive friends following the service.
