Wendell James Black, 62, of Newberry, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on February 24, 1955, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Donald James and Elaine Ellen Turner Black. He was an employee of Kraft Foods.
He is survived by his daughter, Candace (Jason) McElhannon of Newberry; a brother, Donnie Black of Newberry and grandchildren, Michael Chandler and Brianna Chandler.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
