William Charles Mossmayer, Jr., 61, of Prosperity, died Thursday, October 22, 2015, at his residence.
Born on July 29, 1954, in Redwood City, CA, he was a son of the late William Charles Mossmayer, Sr. and Thelma Jo Greenfield Gregory. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a Lutheran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kinard Mossmayer; sons, William Charles Mossmayer III and Christian Bradford; daughters, Candy Kessler, Angela Stark and Crystal Mossmayer; a sister, Cindy Mossmayer; brothers, Richard Mossmayer and Steven Mossmayer; step-mother, Gertrude “Gert” Mossmayer and twelve grandchildren. He was predeceased by two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, October 26, 2015, at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
