Willie Mae Shealy

Willie Mae Shealy, 79, of Newberry, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at J.F . Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on February 17, 1935, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Willie Meredith and Mabel Hendrix Shealy. She was retired from Whitten Center, was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star #226.

Mrs. Shealy is survived by her husband, Paul Norris Shealy, Sr.; sons, Paul Norris (Johnette) Shealy, Jr. of Newberry and William Grady (Cheryl) Shealy of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Amanda (Steven) Phillips, Matthew Shealy, Daniel Shealy and Lydia Shealy; a great-granddaughter, Morrighan Elizabeth Phillips and a sister-in-law, Vickie Shealy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jimmy Counts and Rev. Bill Stone. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00- 8:00 pm Monday at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Eastern Star #226.

Active pallbearers will be Dwayne Jones, Josh Jones, Chris Parker, Bobby Shealy, Daniel Shealy and Matt Shealy.
