So very sorry for your loss. I used to see Lendon when he came into the bank in Newberry.

Mr. and Mrs. Weisner, my deepest condolences on Lendon's passing. We spoke on the phone as recently as last month. He was a part of so many Aiken Estates neighborhood activities growing up. When we had classes together, we invariably sat next to one another--Weaver and Weisner in lock step alphabetically. One of my favorite memories was when he attended a parade with President Johnson and held up the sign saying something like "My name is Lendon too."

I was in the Class of 1969 with Lendon and lived on Cedarwood Park, a short distance from his home. He was gracious, which I appreciated growing up, and challenging, which I learned to appreciate after high school. Your family is in my prayers at this time.

Growing up in Aiken Estates included ALL of us kids. I have some fun memories with Lendon - especially being the princess of Candyland with him as the prince in the school play and all the football games on Longwood Drive!
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Our thoughts are with you in your time of loss. Our prayers are being said in hope to get you through this time of loss. From the obituary it sounds as if Lendon is just in another room waiting for our arrival. John 5:24&25 "Truly, truly, I say unto you, he who believes Him who sent Me,eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. Truly, truly, I say unto you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God,and those who hear will live. This is the hope of every believer that has ever lived. He is in fellowship with his Lord. Nothing could be better. We miss our loved ones for a while, but the reunion will be grand. We are so sorry that we can not make the services, but you are being lifted in prayer.
