James L. Corley, 60, of Prosperity died August 7, 2015 at White Oak Manor.

Born on March 9, 1955, in Georgia, he was the son of the late Clarence and Bertie Fain Corley. He was a former employee of International Paper and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Livingston Corley; a daughter, Mandy Counts and her husband Nick of Little Mountain; a grandson, Bryson Counts; and a lifelong friend, Davey Smith.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015 in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Brent Nichols. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cub Scout Pack 111, 1010 Main Street, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
