I use to hang around with Marks younger brother in grade school and I met mark in auto shop. We worked together at Be Bobs USA and at Suburban door and later at Gurbur Knives. He was a Great friend. We went targets shooting a lot of times after High school. I have always know mark as Bird man and I remember that white bird he had in his room. Mark moved to South Carolina and we would talk periodically. My wife and made a special trip to see him and meet his wife She was very nice. His health was pretty good than. When he came back to Portland a couple of years ago We kinda clashed and He went home upset with me and we didn't Talk so I didn't know his health was so bad. I will miss him dearly. I know that He in GODS hand now. Kris Copenhagen Portland Oregon Good flight Bird Man.

The news of my cousin mark leaving us and going to home to be with god at 46 years old. The pain I feel and the tears that flow from my eyes I can not explain. My thoughts of us all growing up playing in the lake while our parents start the bbq flows in my mind the thing the boys would do that made me smile the long talks Mark and I would have and Mark taking me in his room to show me his big white bird and telling me as he laughed that the bird didn't like girls. While that bird would hiss at me. My heart is there with you aunt Pat, Uncle Mike and Brian and most of all Geneva even though I can not be there at this tearful time. As time grows long and the pain will turn to smiles as you remember and as we all know Mark would want us to go on with our life here on earth and one day as we all are ready to go home he will be there waiting. I love you my cousin Mark and I will miss you and think of you everyday of the rest of my life. This may be read at the funeral please. Thank you Debra Mae
