Marlene, Randy and Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Robert's passing.
He and our John were Speer Street buddies years ago. He was the cutest fellow then and so handsome now.
We lost Chad in 1999 and John passed last Sept. 2014. Our faith and hope is in the belief of eternal families and the knowledge that we will be together again someday. Love, prayers and comfort for now. Kathleen and Roy Roberts

i worked in maintenence for the school district, i visited the class where robert was often and always found him a joy to be around. he was so full of life and loved his teachers. i always got a big hug from him whenever i went into the room. one of his biggest loves was abby, when you saw her, robert was there with her. he was an inspiration to many in his own way, and dont you dare get too close to abby lest he scolded you. take comfort in knowing he is there watching over all of us. may God grant you peace and comfort, wrapping you in His love.

Our deepest sympathy to the Shirey family. We are recent friends of father Randy. Though we did not have the privilege of getting to meet Robert the love was evident when Randy talked about him and the pictures on his phone.
The comments shown here reflect what a great person he must have been. Rest in peace Robert.

I am so sad to hear of Robert's passing. I worked with Robert at Speers Creek for several years and was so happy to see him again when he came to Midlands. Obviously I was saddened to see his health had declined but he had improved while there for awhile. He was such a sweetheart when I worked with him in Newberry.
My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. His big smile will be missed.
