Mary Lynn Foose, 55, of Pomaria, died Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 16, 1959, in Columbia, she was a daughter of Gerald Bedenbaugh and Barbara Cockrell Rinehardt. She was a member of Park Road Baptist Church.

Ms. Foose is survived by her parents, Gerald (Josephine) Bedenbaugh of Leesville and Barbara (Wayne) Rinehardt of West Columbia; her husband, Robert Spells; sons, Shawn (Linsay) Carnes of Newberry and Brandan (Anne) Carnes of Lexington; a daughter, Jennifer (James) Craig of Cary, NC; a sister, Tambi (Jimmy) Nida of Hillsborough, NC; brothers, Babe (Autumn) Bedenbaugh of Leesville and Jerry (Tiffany) Bedenbaugh of Kodak, TN; grandchildren, Laney Carnes, Blakeley Carnes, Teagan Carnes and Jameson Craig.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 1817 Gadsden Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
