Marion, My memories of Zion UMC on Sunday mornings always include you and Oscar. I was away when your children were growing up, but so happy to see you all when we came to church with mother and daddy so much in their declining years. You all were loyal to the church and to each other. Blessings on you as you deal with your great loss. -Drucie Connelly Eaddy

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the resurrection promise at John 5;28,29 that reads; "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all that are in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.

On behalf of the Foster Family, we extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Oscar. He was one of the "characters" of my life's story and produced such a wonderful and stalwart family of our community. While I know he shall be missed by family and friends, he is truly at Peace and is whole. I would also like to offer my thanks, my admiration and my respect for his service to our country in a very dangerous and difficult time. May God be with you and we love you.
