I was so sorry to hear of Floyd's passing. I
know that He and my dad, Sidney, and Virgil
all grew up in Peak together during the
depression and were best buddies. As a kid,
Floyd was always nice to me and, as a young man,
at our Summer Family reunions, he would always
find the time to sit and talk with me and my
family. I loved hearing all the stories he would tell. He once took us riding horses and showed us
the old stage coach station in the woods there in
Peak. A lot of great memories about a great man.
My dad died back in 1998. My condolences, and I pray comfort, hope, and peace on the family...we will see him again!
