Jack Elon Farr, 85, of Little Mountain, widower of Anne Frick Farr, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at White Oak Manor.

Born on June 5, 1930, in Little Mountain, he was a son of the late Boyd and Lola Isobelle Counts Farr. He served in the S.C. National Guard was a former truck driver for Colonial Stores and retired as a certified mechanic from Hancock Buick. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Farr is survived by sons, Glenn Farr of Irmo and Craig (Lisa) Farr of Prosperity; grandchildren, Justin and Kimberley Farr; brothers, Frank Farr of Little Mountain and W.B. “Bill” Farr of West Columbia. He was predeceased by sisters, Mamie Lou Bedenbaugh and Mabel Lindler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after the service in the Trinity Life Center. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075 or to the Little Mountain Rescue Squad or Fire Department, PO Box 8, Little Mountain, SC 29075.

Active pallbearers will be Kyle Brandt, Nathan Brandt, Mike Chapman, “Chop” Cooper, Justin Farr and Charles Frick.
