Born on October 15, 1951, Albert was the son of the late Gene and Marguerite Shealy. He was a loving and proud husband, Daddy and Poppa. Being with his family was his greatest joy. He was an active member of St. Philip’s Lutheran Church where he served on church council; was a past president, teacher, and member of the Faithful Servants Sunday School class; and the Lutheran Men. Albert served in the SC National Guard and retired from The State Newspaper.
He loved being outdoors, enjoyed gardening, and raising cattle. Albert was always a phone call away to share concern and love for others; he was always reaching out to family and friends. He touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed.
Albert is survived by his wife, Debbie Broome Shealy; a son, Matthew (Kara) Shealy of Enoree; a daughter Lorianne (Jeff) Riggin of Pomaria; a grandson, Brayden Shealy; a brother Kenneth Shealy of Prosperity and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Shealy was predeceased by a brother, George Shealy.
