Rebecca, John and Children, we are so sorry for your loss. I don't recall meeting Brenda, but I understand that she and Sally worked together at Whitten Village. From everything I've heard Brenda must have been a wonderful person.

Really sorry about your mom. I didn’t know her too well but I feel that knowing you ( Garrett ) that I did indeed know her. Those characters in you that reflect Christ must have made her smile as they were a part of her character as well. Im glad she has her reward and am just a bit sad for you brother that there is a void till you see her again... John and Renee

"Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."

Brenda not only quoted the motto of Special Olympics but she lived it each and every day before the athletes and others. I observed her bravery as she pressed her way through trials and tribulations to make a difference in the life of others. She also spoke about her faith in God. I believe it was that greater calling on her life that gave her strength to press on. To family and friends let us do likewise. Philippians 3:13-15a states "Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude..."
With His Love, Moses
